The Referral Process
The ARROW Project aims to serve the community in a timely manner. However, in recent years we have seen an unprecedented rise in demand for our services. If you have been referred to us, learn more about what to expect below.
1. Email or call
In order to be put on our waitlist, you need to email hello@arrow-project.org, or call 540-255-0972. This lets us know that you are interested in beginning services.
2. Intake
Once we receive your initial request for services, we will contact you to complete your intake paperwork. This includes providing your availability and background info.
3. Payment
Our insurance specialist will give you a call to clarify and set up how you plan to pay for services. We have several payment options, including self-pay, insurance, and sliding scale.
4. Clinician assignment
At this point in the process, you will be paired to one of our clinicians. During the intake process, you will have the opportunity to request to be matched with a certain type of clinician (e.g. a particular specialty, age, gender).

What to Do While You Wait
1. Visit our “Current Programs” page to view our list of current groups. These groups are free of charge and open to anyone, not just current clients of ARROW!
2. Check out the “Our Community” page to find other mental health related resources.
3. If you feel you are experiencing a mental health crisis – don’t wait. Call 911 or seek immediate help at your nearest hospital.
